Week 6 Devlog: Bigger and Better
This week was the beginning of our last feature sprint after which we have the polish sprint left. We are focusing this sprint on adding new features like powerups, events and even a new ultimate move. Part of the UI was also planned for this week.
On the pickup side of things we added the disco wand pickup. When the players pickup this wand they attract score pickups in a certain range around them.
We added an event system which triggers a random event on a random interval. We also added our first event the slow motion event. Work was started on the human tornado which is an ultimate move. It is a giant tornado of NPC's that picks up the other players.
For the UI we have the start menu, the pause menu and the options menu, but the look needs some tweaking.
The map got some more details and Particles got an upgrade to improve player feedback.
Next week we will continue on adding pickups, improving the scene and UI.
