Week 7 Devlog: Easter break
In this devlog we put a lot of time in finishing a lot of the fun features of the game, as in new pick ups, and even an ultimate ability. For the art in this devlog a lot of the animation had some fixing done, we completely remove the walking animation and replaced it with three different stepping animations to be in sync with the beat while playing the game. Next to that we also continued finishing up the level itself, adding more decorations around the level making it feel more alive then ever.
Aswell as the lighting took a drastic change as it was overpower a lot of the work we we're doing. (Ex. particles didn't look as we made them) In the end we have a lighting feel that feels close to the original but, is more friendly towards the environment and extra effects in the game.
